The Management Committee makes all major legal, financial, employment, planning and policy making decisions. They employ the Centre Director to manage the centre on a day-to-day basis and be responsible for the supervision of staff.
Every parent (by way of paying enrolment fees) is automatically a member of the Association (note, the Association is not the Management Committee). Access and involvement with the Association can be achieved via:
- The Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in August of each year.
- Nominating for positions available at the AGM.
- Monthly Management Committee Meetings (for committee members only) concerning general business, held on the second Tuesday of each month.
Parents may also like to be involved in a sub-committee. These are formed from time to time when a particular project requires a greater focus than the monthly meetings.
